Rogue Valley’s Got Talent benefit at EPHS

EPHS Speech & Debate team is putting on a community event at the Eagle Point High School called-Rogue Valley’s Got Talent (their  version of the hit TV show) on Mar.5 at 6 p.m.  It is a talent show open to the entire Rogue Valley. They are trying to bring the community together in a positive and fun way. Admission is $5.
There will be a silent auction at the event as well.

The EPHS Speech & Debate team  lost its school funding  this year  due to budget cuts so we are trying to raise our own funds-each tournament costs around $1,000.

Speech and debate guides students through the process of beneficial communication skills as well as developing analytical skills that will help towards being the leaders of tomorrow. It is a huge confidence builder.

All of the proceeds from this event will go towards the speech-debate team as well as a donation to the non-profit  group Invisible Children. Invisible Children is a group that works to stop the use of  and recovery of child soldiers in Uganda,  Africa.
