The annual ACCESS Senior Fair, a valuable and fun one-stop opportunity for seniors and people of all ages, takes place Tuesday, Mar. 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Medford Armory, 1701 S. Pacific Highway. This one-day event, sponsored by Medical Eye Center, will feature over 80 vendor booths from healthcare and living facilities, social service agencies, professional services, local hospitals, art organizations, and other critical resources for seniors and families.
The Senior Fair is the largest one-day event primarily for seniors in the Rogue Valley and features vendors from as far as Portland, Salem, Eugene and Bend. Last year’s event drew over 5,000 attendees, the most ever for the Senior Fair.
Admission is by a suggested donation of $1 or one can of non-perishable food that will go to support ACCESS programs for local seniors.
The Senior Fair will also feature free bingo with local celebrity callers with prizes from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and prize drawings throughout the day. Many of the booths provide free samples, giveaways, health screenings and eye exams.
