Duane Graham, of Shady Cove, died Mar. 22, 2010 at Providence Medford Medical Center.
He was born in Medford on May 27, 1951, to Lee and Mercedes Graham.. He lived his entire life in the Rogue Valley and retired from Boise Cascade. He graduated from Medford High School in 1969, and joined the Marine Corps that same year.
He was a joy to everyone he knew. His father has described him as the most lovable man. He had a sometimes odd, but always fabulous sense of humor and was always ready with a smile. He loved nature, especially in Oregon, and used to spend many days enjoying the freedom of riding his motorcycle along the back roads, taking photographs of the beautiful things he saw. When he was at home, he loved to cook and had a great talent for it. He recently became passionate about baking, giving all of the things he made to family and friends.
Mr. Graham is survived by his parents, Lee and Mercedes Graham, of Shady Cove; his daughters, Tamara, Kendra and Kayla; and his younger brother, Stephen, of Eagle Point. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Ron, in November of last year.
The service for Mr. Graham was held Tuesday, Mar. 30 at 2 p.m. at the Eagle Point National Cemetery. Arrangements by Memory Gardens Mortuary.
