Eagle Point Lions will host a dinner at Antonio’s Tuesday, Apr. 20 at 6:30 p.m. as part of their 2010 membership drive.
The local Lions club is one of those groups some call “a best kept secret” because they are so giving and caring for all ages in the community. Many probably know that Lions wherever there is a group, put the needs of sight and hearing at the top of their list. But they do many things from sponsoring the very successful Boy Scout Troop 48 to an annual distribution of small flags to local school children.
The gathering on Apr. 20 will afford Lions the opportunity to tell their story and for some of the Upper Rogue’s men and women to consider being a part of the group.
The dinner is free and it is at Antonio’s. Space is limited. Reservations need to be made by calling George Linder at 541-826-4353 or Wylie Johnson at 541-826-2679.
