Nicole Hart-Marrujo, 35, of White City, died April 19, 2010, at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 17, 1975. She married her best friend, Bobby Marrujo, in 2003, and at the same time gained a son, Christian, who also became the love of her life.
After surviving two open heart surgeries, Nicole knew she must do something special with life. As she bame an adult she discovered her mission in life and in 1999, created Hart 2 Heart CPR. She instructed many about heart health and how to save lives. She taught thousands of students the miracle of heart resuscitation. Her greatest satisfaction was when she heard from a former student who had used the skills she had taught.
Those who knew Nicole knew she had an unquenchable need to live life to the fullest and get the most from every day. Her infectious personality gained her hundreds of lifetime friends in many area schools.
She was in her element when she was outdoors with her husband camping and hunting. Her other hobbies were spending time with Christian, scrapbooking, shopping and going to yard sales.
Nicole’s battle with her congenital heart defect was ultimately what took her life when on April 19, 2010, her heart stopped. She is now at peace in the arms of her heavenly Father.
Nicole leaves behind her husband and son; parents Rick and Becky Hart,; brother Rick, Jr. (Terra) Hart and many extended family members.
A memorial service was held April 24 at Table Rock Fellowship followed by a potluck lunch.
