The 7th annual Thomas Ussary Memorial Car and Motorcycle Show is set for Saturday, May 1 at Eagle Point High School.

This event has become quite an attraction for car buffs with everything from a parts swap to a poker run and engine blow-up .

It gets under way at 8 a.m. with the concession for breakfast and lunch opening at 7:30 a.m. Registration to enter a car is from 8-10 a.m. at a cost of $15 which includes the t-shirt shown here.

The poker run is at 1 p.m. with a $5 entry fee.  First place wins $100, 2nd $50 and 3rd receives $25.
The engine blowup gets underway at 12 noon. The closest guess on how long the engine will run with oil but no coolant wins half the proceeds. Tickets will be on sale at the car show.

There are 42 classes with a lot of sharp looking automobiles and some heavy duty bikes.

The trophy presentation is at 2 p.m.

This is a project to benefit Skills USA. For information, call Matt Boren 830-6397.
