Janet Mae Hoefft

Janet Mae Hoefft, passed away peacefully on May22 at the age 65 after a 5 month courageous battle with cancer.  Jan moved to the Rogue Valley in July of 1980, at which time, she settled into White City.  Shortly after, she moved to Shady Cove and Eagle Point.  She enjoyed spending her time salmon fishing on the Rogue River.  Jan is married to Thomas Hoefft of Eagle Point.  In 1997, Jan and Tom moved to Mountain Home, Idaho, where they lived for many years.

Jan loved people and was the rock that everyone relied on.  Her beautiful smile made everyone’s day.  No matter what the task, she always gave 125 percent.  She impacted so many people’s lives and will be greatly missed by all. 

Jan leaves behind a mom, Patsy Micheau, of Huron, South Dakota, a Husband Thomas Hoefft, Daughters Tracie Lajeunesse (Roning), Leslie McElroy (Roning), and Son Doug Roning.
