Leukemia survivor from age three, Julieanne Dotson-Bossert, is “living proof” that cancer research can find cures for this disease.
After 34 chemical medications and a five year struggle, the EPHS freshman, who has been considered cured since age eight, remains eager to help others.
She and team members Josh Amidon, and Josi Sherman, from EPHS, and Nick Chastain, Travor Hall and John Hall, from Crater High, will be in the Relay for Life. It kicks off Saturday, June 5 at 10 a.m. with the survivor lap at 12 a.m.
To donate to Julieanne’s Team, send donations to Relay for Life, P.O. Box 1033, Eagle Point, OR 97524. Or, join the event at Spiegelberg Stadium. Donations will be accepted through June.
