Beverly F. Maplesden, 83, of White City, died July 21, 2010 at her home on E. Evans Creek. She was a lifetime resident of southern Oregon and northern California.
She was born Nov. 4, 1926, in Klamath Falls, to Moses Paul and Eva Effie Elliott Franklin.
She married Amos Arlington Maplesden on Feb. 11, 1943, in Medford. They were married for 58 years and had two sons. Her priority in life was family, nurturing and encouraging all of them. She was always a supporter of Child Evangelism Fellowship and was a teacher for many years.
She is survived by her son, Sydney Amos Maplesden, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; sisters, Elizabeth Rose, Hazel and Patricia; a brother, Duane Arthur; son, Cecil Roy and grandson, Sydney Bruce.
The service for Ms. Maplesden was July 31 at Conger-Morris, Pastor Desavedo of the Eagle Valley Cowboy Church officiated. officiated. Contributions may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship, 334 Effie St., Medford, OR 97504. Arrangements by Conger-Morris, Central Point.
