David E. Pulliam, 90, of Shady Cove, died at his home on Aug. 15, 2010.
He was born on Aug. 3, 1920, in Parma, Idaho to E.J. and Doris Pulliam. Mr. Pulliam grew up in Kennewick, Wash., where he played football and graduated from Kennewick Senior High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as a sergeant in WWII.
He married his beloved wife, Bea, on Aug. 10, 1951. They shared 59 wonderful years together. He enjoyed hunting, and fishing and was an avid outdoorsman.
He is survived by his wife, Bea, of Shady Cove; daughters, Pamalla MacDonald, of Fremont, Calif. and Debra Hale, of Shady Cove, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter, Gayle Barbato, of San Leandro, Calif., and son, Jay Pulliam, of Kennewick, Wash.
He will be sorely missed. His family and friends have many treasured memories of him. His strength of character and honor will be carried on through his family.
