The Shady Cove River ArtWalk, set for Aug. 14 & 15, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Edgewater Inn and Rogue River RV Park, will feature 100 fine artists and original artisans.
Additional fine woodcraft, textiles, metal craft, photographers, full line of lapidary work, pyrographic art on tree conks, scrimshaw, and an abundance of jewelry artisans, including fine handmade gemstone & sterling jewelry will be displayed
Music will be featured both Saturday and Sunday.
The 2nd annual Kid’s ArtZone will be held at Aunt Caroline’s Park, off Hwy 62, at Indian Creek Road (south of the SC Bridge) will feature kid’s art instruction and cultural Indian dance.
There is “no parking” inside the Motel or RV Park. Free Park & Shuttle is available south of the Bridge; also, watch for shuttle signs throughout Shady Cove. NOTE: Jackson County “Fee Parking” is available across from Edgewater Inn. Walk or Ride the nostalgic trolley or Upper Rogue Community Center van for drop off at any one of the three entrance gates. Entrance is FREE (donations accepted).
While this art venue is not formally juried, 150 applicants from throughout Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Nebraska and California have been reviewed by this year’s ArtWalk committee.
