Shots fired in Medford, suspect located

On July 30 at approximately 3:02 a.m., the Medford Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Muchas Gracias at 2305 W. Main.  There were no injuries reported.

Arriving officers found that the suspect vehicle, only described as a white, 4-door sedan, had left the area. 

The initial investigation indicates that a confrontation occurred in the parking lot of Muchas Gracias between a number of patrons. The suspect retrieved a firearm from the suspect vehicle and fired at least three rounds with an unknown weapon, towards the business. The suspect got into the backseat area of the suspect vehicle and fled the scene. The four occupants of the vehicle are described as two females, a black male adult, and the suspect (who is only described as a Hispanic male adult).

On July 31, Medford Police announced a search warrant was executed at an address in the 100 block of Omni Circle where evidence linked to the shooting was recovered, although the firearm was not recovered. The four occupants of the suspect vehicle have been identified and interviewed.

The suspect in the shooting is identified as Raymond Ranal Williams, 25, of the Omni Circle address. He was lodged on two counts of attempted murder, one count of attempted assault and unlawful use of a weapon. He was also lodged on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a previous Theft 3 charge His bailed was set at $2,028,000.
