Theft of valuable pottery molds

On July 16, 2010 a resident in the 4600 block of Antelope Road, White City, reported the theft of three to four thousand pottery molds. The pottery molds included a variety of designs including “Indian”, “Disney” and “dragon” molds. The molds are estimated to weigh between 5 to 10 lbs each and would have taken a considerable effort to take them. The cost of the molds varies but each is in the $100 range. The estimated value of all property stolen ranges from $300,000 and $400,000. The molds are specialized items and would be of value only to someone in the business.

Detectives are actively working this case and are currently searching for more leads and information.
