The Shady Cove Wolverine football team played with great heart and tenacity Wednesday evening in Shady Cove. The St. Mary’s Crusaders jumped to an early lead. The Wolverine offense showed great improvement this week. Michael Macedo ran the offense well. Jared Dabel pounded the ball up the middle for 100 yards on the night. Anthony Lozano also ran well tonight as did Victor Ruiz-Erickson. Tim Wheale was credited for an interception and run back of 30 yards.
Coaches Sweem and Macedo are once again very proud of their players for working hard and giving 100% effort into the game. In the end the Crusaders were victorious 32-12. Please join us next Wednesday Sept. 29 when we host the Sacred Heart Knights at 4:00.
