Hilma “Dolores” MacInnis

Dolores passed away Friday, October 15th surrounded by her family.

She was born July 23rd, 1924 in Berkeley, CA to Alfred & Hilma Koistinen.  She married “Mac” Percy  Brent  MacInnis on  August 30th, 1942. They raised 5 children together.  Dolores worked as a school cook for many years.  She then became a CNA working in assisted living and home health care.  She moved to Oregon in May, 1984 to help with the care of her twin grandsons.  Dolores was always caring for others right up to the end.

She is survived by her brother , Paul Koistinen of California.  Daughters, Linda Stroup & Sonia MacInnis of Eagle Point, Julie Von Arx of California; grandchildren Allan MacInnis Jr, Christina DeCosta, Cindy Moses, Roger Stroup, Bobby Stroup, Eric MacInnis, Richard & Dean MacInnis and several great-grandchildren.

She was greeted in heaven by her three children, Sharon, Carolyn, & Allan, 6 siblings & our Dad, “Mac”.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held on Thursday, October 28th, 7:00 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran  42 Alta Vista Rd, Eagle Point.
