Lois Griswold Cox, 79, of White City, died Oct. 9, 2010, at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
She was born June 23, 1931, in Los Angeles, Calif and had been a resident of White City for the past 40 years. She enjoyed a career as a nurses aide from which she retired.
Lois enjoyed collecting Elvis memorabilia and kitty cats along with making quilts for the family. She enjoyed camping, spending time with family and taking care of her dog, Princess.
She is survived by her two beloved children; Nedra Joyce and Mark Allen. They were the spark of her life, as were her seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Cox, who died in 2007. She will be laid to rest with him at the Eagle Point National Cemetery Monday, Oct. 18 at 3 p.m. A visitation was held Oct. 14.
