Phyllis Mary Footh, 85, of White City died November 5, 2010. She was born to Cecil and Betsy (Price) Hambrook on July 12, 1925, in London, England. On Sept. 26, 1942, she married the love of life, Donald L. Footh, who preceded her in death in 1976.
She worked as a CNA and housewife and as a bookkeeper in London. She attended a business college in London after high school graduation.. Phyllis enjoyed gardening, knitting, reading, bingo and crafts. She was a former member of the VFW, Senior Center in Medford and Eagles Sr. Center in Rogue River, Garden Club and Civic Club in Rogue River.
She is survived by her son, Michael Footh, of Medford; daughters, Susan Mielke, of Eugene and Donna Silva of Myrtle Creek, Ore., four grandchildren , 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Donald, and her brother, Brian Hambrook.
A private family service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to C.A.T.S. or to A. S.P.C.A.
