Thelma Jean Ross, 70, died Nov. 14, 2010.
She was born Jan. 22, 1940 in Redding, Calif., to Joseph and Francis Cox. On January 11, 1958, she married Duane M. Ross.
Thelma was a very talented artist, known for her painting of the Wood House in Eagle Point. She named the painting “Under the Angel Wings,” and donated it to the Eagle Point Museum. She was a very loving and giving person, loved by her family and friends. She loved her critters–goats, geese, dogs, cats and anything else that wandered in.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Edward) White; a son, Stuart (Sherri) Ross and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Albert “Leroy” Cox.
