EPMS enters week 8 and 1

The Eagle Point Middle School 8th grade boys have run off three straight wins after their loss to the Lincoln-Savage, raising their season record to 8-1. The Panthers beat Fleming behind 17 points and 7 rebounds from Neff Clark. David Barber chipped in with 8 points and 7 steals, and Cade McNiven added 7 points and 5 rebounds.

Next up was Hanby and the Panthers jumped on them early leading from start to finish in a 74-29 victory. The Panthers were led by McNivens 18 point 8 rebound effort. Every Panther reached the score book on the night. In addition to McNivens big night Tristan Bennett added 12 points and Clark tossed in 11.

The 8th grade boys recorded a 51-44 win over intra district rival White Mountain. Barber led the Panthers with 21 points and added 5 assists. Jacob Shelton tallied 12 points and scraped 10 rebounds, and Clark contributed 8 points and 8 rebounds on the night. The Wolves were led by Tito Rios with 10 points, and Rahim Sowell with 8 points and a great overall floor game.
