On Saturday Nov. 20th seventy six Eagle Point senior Citizens and their guests gathered at the Senior Center for a Thanksgiving dinner. Every one enjoyed giving thanks with old and new friends. This year it was hosted by Harry and Jan Wheeler with the help of local volunteers. A delicious assortment of desserts were prepared by members and provided the finishing touches to a great dinner to start the Holiday Season.
Center President Jerry Zieman reminds all seniors to come out to the center and enjoy a cup of coffee with old and new friends by the woodstove. We have Monday bingo, Tuesday Quilting, Pool Table, Casino Trips, Monthly Pot Lucks, and serve a hot lunch.
Just in time for your holiday shopping, Nancy Lilly, manager of the Thrift Shop has a great selection of affordable holiday decorations and gifts just in time for your holiday shopping.
