Rogue Valley skiers and snowshoers will have the option to ride a shuttle to Mt. Ashland rather than drive. Ashland Mountain Adventures will run a shuttle to Mt. Ashland for the ski season. Riding the shuttle saves wear and tear on the car, gas expense, the hassle of driving in snowy conditions and reduces the carbon footprint for those heading to the mountains. The shuttle is also convenient for teens and adults who may not be well seasoned in winter driving skills.
The Ashland Mountain van will begin its route in Medford at the Northwest Outdoor Store parking lot at 7:30am, do a pick up at the Ashland Mountain shop, at 700 Mistletoe road in Ashland, at 8am. The shuttle will arrive on the mountain at approximately 8:45. The shuttle leaves the mountain by 4:15. The van can only transport 14 people, so reservations are required.
