He came to Conway from Gainesville, Georgia, where he was manager of radiology at Northeast Georgia Hospital, a 557-bed facility. While there, he led the process that placed the cath lab number one in the state in cardiac services.
From 1999 to 2007, he was vice president of operations for Touchstone Medical Imaging, a nationwide operator of freestanding imaging centers.
In addition to the cardiac cath lab, Jacob will be responsible for Conway Regional’s imaging services including x-ray, nuclear medicine, MRI, outpatient imaging center, CT, PET/CT, non-invasive cardiology, ultrasound, radiology nursing and women’s imagining services. There are 96 employees in Conway’s imaging and cardiovascular services.
Jacob was a 1984 graduate of Eagle Point High School and a 1988 graduate of Oregon Institute of Technology where he obtained a degree in MRI. He also has a degree in business management from Webster University in St. Louis, Mo.
