EPMS 8th gr. Basketball had 10-1 season

The EPMS 8th grade boys basketball completed their season with a sparkling 10-1 record winning their sixth game in a row with their 57-39 victory over Lorna Byrne in Cave Junction. Although not as sharp as normal the Panthers were able to control the game from start to finish in posting the season ending win. Ethan DeVore displayed his shooting ability with a team high 15 points. Jacob Shelton posted 12 points. Nate Brammer, Neff Clark, Gage Ponder, and David Barber tallied 6 points apiece, while Moroni Beal and Cade McNiven scored 4 and 2 points each. Shelton and Beal grabbed 5 rebounds each. Clark grabbed 8 steals followed closely by Beal who came up with 7 steals of his own. David Barber added 5 steals and 5 assists to his 6 points.

The Panthers pressure defense and fast paced offense was both an effective and fun way for the boys to play the game of basketball. Congratulations to coach Stan Rosetta and all the players on a great season.
