Butte Falls resident Ruthanne Bray is known to many as a 10-year board member of the Community Health Center, as a volunteer in her community, and as a mother, but her artistic ability seems to have been a best kept secret.
While a native Oregonian, she and her family saw a lot of the country before returning to Oregon and settling down in the area– first in Eagle Point, then in Butte Falls.
It wasn’t until they moved to Butte Falls that Bray had room enough to pick up her paint brushes and do some serious work. She works in both watercolors and acrylic.
Some of her work can be seen at PremierWest Bank in Eagle Point. And, she is the featured artist at Art De Jour, 213 E. Main in Medford.
