Date and time of incident:  03/14/2011 at 1129 hours

Location of incident:  Premier West Bank, 1455 E. McAndrews Road., Medford

At approximately 11:29 a.m. onday, Mar. 14,  Medford Police officers and detectives responded to a report of a bank robbery that just occurred at Premier West Bank, 1455 E. McAndrews Road. 

Officers and Detectives arrived on scene within minutes of the report and determined the suspect had fled the scene. The initial investigation revealed that the lone male suspect entered the bank and demanded money from a bank employee.  No weapon was displayed. The suspect fled the bank through the north side doorway with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Witnesses said the suspect may have jumped a fence to the north of the bank and got into a tan or beige older vehicle.

Description of the suspect is:
Male, adult, dark complexion
40’s, 5’7” – 5’ 9”, medium build
Wearing a white stocking cap, light colored jacket, light colored pants
Carrying a small black duffle bag

The investigation is continuing, and anyone with information as to the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Medford Police Detective J. Ivens at 541-774-2234.
