Eagle Point will officially celebrate Arbor Day on Thursday, April 7 at Centennial Plaza. It will be the 19th year the city has been recognized for its tree program. Events will begin at 10 a.m. with the introduction of elected officials, city staff and special guests by City Administrator Dave Hussell. Mayor Bob Russell will dedicate the trees in Centennial Plaza to Eagle Point’s 100th birthday. This will be followed by Oregon Department of Forestry representative Matt Krunglevich, who will present awards to the city.
