Clifford C. Josey, III, 80, of White City died Feb. 28, 2011. He was born June 8, 1930, in West Monroe, La.
He was a retired military Major who later became a contractor in the Rogue Valley. After retiring, he enjoyed jewelry making showing a talent for design. He also volunteered at Crater Rock Museum.
He was a man of great empathy and manners, remembering his southern roots. He made friends easily, was outgoing and friendly. He is very missed by his family.
He is survived by his wife, Helen, to whom he was married 47 years. He is also survived by his son, Cliff, and two grandchildren, as well as a sister, Juanita Dean, of Boone, N.C.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to a favorite charity.
Memorial service with Pastor Rick Booye officiating will be held at Eagle Point National Cemetery on Wednesday, Apr.6, at 11 a.m.
