The following information is forwarded to Oregon media at the request of the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office related to their search for a double homicide suspect who may travel to or through Oregon.

Yavapai County investigators are searching for Wesley O. Hubbs, age 50, suspected in a double homicide in Prescott, Arizona on April 1, 2011 following a shooting that resulted in the deaths of a 53-year old man and a 63-year old woman.

Hubbs is described as a white male, 6’2″, 170 lbs, with brown balding hair and brown eyes.  Hubbs walks with a significant limp because of a club foot condition involving his right foot.  He is also known to wear head coverings (bandanas).

Hubbs is believed to be armed and is considered dangerous.  He is likely driving a 2000 Mercury Villager van displaying Arizona license 722 BMP.  The van is red in color with a gray stripe along the bottom.  The back door may be displaying a sticker with the words “in home caregiver”.

Anyone with information that Hubbs is in Oregon should immediately call 9-1-1, Oregon State Police Northern Command Center dispatch at 800-452-7888, or Yavapai County Detective Mike Poling at (928) 771-3278.

All media inquiries should be directed to Dwight D’Evelyn, Media/Crime Prevention Coordinator for the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, at (928) 771-7441.
