Laurent (Larry) R. Falcy

Laurent “Larry” R. Falcy of Trail, OR., passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife, all his children, and his brother Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Rogue Valley Medical Center, Medford, OR.  He was born April 24, 1935 in Weehawken, N.J., to Roger and Mae Falcy.
Larry graduated from Tenafly High School in N.J.  After graduation, Larry joined the Army.              
Larry had four children with his first wife, Janis Quine.  In 1970, Larry married Barbara (Schmidt) Falcy, the love of his life.  They had two children.  Together they lived in Eagle Point and Trail, OR.  He and Barbara enjoyed many years of camping with all the children, traveling to Mexico and being with their seven grandchildren.

Larry worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 25 years.  He belonged to the Knights of Columbus in Medford.  Larry enjoyed camping, fishing, bird watching, and spending quality time with his youngest granddaughter, Alycia.

Larry is survived by his wife Barbara Falcy of Trail, OR.; brother, Roger Falcy (Evelyn); five children, Christopher, Kathryn, Michael, Justin, and Matthew; seven grandchildren, Stephen, Kenny, Tyler, Savanah, Sarah, Brennan, Alycia, and his fourth granddaughter coming in June.

A celebration of his life was held Wednesday, May 25,  at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Shady Cove..  A reception followed at the church..  Interment was in Siskiyou Memorial Park.
