Chester Noland Henson

Chester Nolan Henson, 86, of Eagle Point, died May 31, 2011, at Providence Medford Medical Center. He was born Feb. 1, 1925, in Bizmark, Ark., to Joshua and Grace (Allen) Henson.

In 1941, he married Nancy Ophelia Norwood. They moved to Oregon in 1949, settling in the Rogue Valley in 1956. After 57 years of marriage, his wife, Nancy, passed away in 1998. In 1999, he married Juanita Sue (Taylor) DiMambro. He was twice blessed.

Mr. Henson worked for Cascade Wood Products for 23 years. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church In his free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Sue; his little sister, Evalee Carter, of Okla.; his two sons, John David, of La Pine and Calvin Dean Henson, of Bend; daughter, Bonnie Jean Miller, of Medford; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

In union with Sue, survivors include five stepchildren, Lisa, Renata, Mario and Wendy; seven grandchildren and give great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis and Lloyd; three sisters, Edna, Betty and Lavern; his daughter, Joyce Lee Kinnanan and his son, Chester Nolan Henson, Jr.

The service for Mr. Henson was held June 11 at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel. Arrangements by Hillcrest Memorial ark and Mortuary.
