Dr. Thaddeus Gala and his staff officially opened the doors of his clinic, Complete Care Chiropractic and Massage on Friday, June 24. It is described as possibly the “greenest” commercial building in Jackson County, by Batzer Construction, project contractor.
Green features one will notice include controlled lighting, based on the sunlight; placing of several solar tubes through the roof that light specific areas and the four deep eaves.
Green features not readily noticeable include super insulation (R-45), 12-inch thick walls with a thick layer of polystyrene foam in the middle of plywood panels, triple pane windows, among other energy efficient features.
A tour of the new facility includes some of the most recent equipment, such as a digital motion x-ray that shows the movement in a problem area. Another new piece of is a decompression table, specifically for herniated disc issues.
And in keeping with the latest trend, the business office has standing level workstations., which please those in that department.
Dr. Gala, a 1999 graduate of Eagle Point High School, plans on having a variety of evening classes once, as he said, “things get settled down” He specifically mentioned health, nutrition and massage classes and education.
Staffing includes: RuthAnne Alexander, MS, counseling; Julie Bogden, FNP, primary care; Sarah Gordon, chiropractic assistant, massage therapist and Dr. Gala. Megan Jones is the office manager, and Melonie Jorgensen is the health coach and Trish Martinson, chiropractic assistant.
Office hours are Monday-Friday, 8-5:30 p.m. They are located at 1296 So. Shasta, 541-830-4325.
