He was born Sept. 21, 1949 to the late Francis Wright Sr. and Anna Grace Lotts, in Fort Leavenworth, Kans.
After his father retired from the sevice, his family last settled n White City. He started 7th grade at Eagle Point Grade School. He graduated from EPHS in 1968. He joined the Air Force from 1969 until 1973, where he became an Avionics Systems Technician.
He moved to Alaska joining his family who molved there three years earlier. While there he worked with Operating Engineers for many years and worked on the pipeline and the North Slope.
Mr. Wright came back to the Rogue Valley and in 1991 began a beautiful journey with his soul-mate Terry Arens. They married in 2001.
He was self-employed for 14 years. Many customers were like family. He enjoyed the outdoors, his antique tractors, mechanical and electrical work, fossils and rocks, inventing and creating. He also helped people and volunteered for the MDA.
He is survived by his wife, Terry, granddaughter, Treauna, who they were raising together; five other grandchildren, a daughter, Sarah Bevard, of Delata Junction, Alaska, sister, Jean Knapp, Fairbanks, Alaska; father and mother-in-law, Arnold and Betty Arens, sisers-in-law, Kaen Pool and Rebecca Dumas, all of Eagle Point; two step-childen and two grandchildren, in the Eugene area. He will be loved and missed by many.The service for Mr. Wright was held June 6 at Eagle Point National Cemetery with a gathering immediately following at Eagle Point Grange.
