She moved to the Rogue Valley with her family in 1934 and settled on a small farm in Table Rock. She and her two sisters, Jean (James) and Loree (Anhorn) attended Sams Valley, Table Rock and Central Point schools. While attending Sams Valley school she meant her husband of 69 years Morris Frink, they were married February 1, 1941. They had four children, Jim (Marilyn), Russell, Judy (Terry) and John. At the time of her passing she had eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her father Linder and mother Florence, sister Jean James, daughter Judy Frink (Simmons) and husband Morris.
Lucile was a homemaker, a 4-H knitting club leader for many years, an active Grange member up till the time of her death and worked in several fabric stores in Medford through the years. She also worked as a judge of 4-H knitting projects at the area county fairs and at state fair. Many Central Point Grange members will remember her many hours of work on Grange pot lucks, bazaars and many other Grange activities through the years. She loved to knit, sew, crochet and bake goodies for the kids and grandkids. She also enjoyed getting holiday dinners for the family and was known for her home made stuffed buns on Christmas eve family gatherings. She will be very much missed.
