Free help for pet owners

The Rogue Valley Veterinary Medical Association (RVVMA) will present a free public education seminar for pet owners in the Rogue Valley area.

Gail Bishop, grief counselor at the Veterinary School of Medicine at Colorado State University, will discuss important issues for pet owners such as pet advocacy, hospice care, and the grieving process. “How can I make the right end-of-life decisions for my pet and what questions do I ask my vet?” will be some of the issues for discussion by Bishop.

The free session is Sunday, Sept. 18, from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Red Lion Inn, 200 N. Riverside.

RSVP to rvvma1@gmail.com or call 541-944-3618. Walk-ins are also welcome.
