Home invasion in Eagle Point

On August 2, at a little after 2:05 am, two male subjects, one masked and gloved and allegedly armed with a firearm , the other gloved without his face being covered, entered the victim’s unlocked residence and tied up two victims before removing electronic equipment, computers, and money. The suspects loaded the equipment into the victim’s 2003 Ford pickup and left the scene.  Containment was set up and the victim’s pickup was located in Eagle Point a short distance away by the Oregon State Police. 

One male victim, age 31, was forcibly removed from his wheelchair by the armed suspect and placed face down on the floor where the other suspect tied his hands and feet.  The other victim, age 27, heard the commotion and left his bedroom and was confronted by the suspects and ordered to the ground.  The second victim complied and was threatened with violence as his hands and feet were bound. 

The suspects took the victim’s wallets, truck keys, and property consisting of electronic equipment, an LCD television, two laptop computers, and left in the victim’s 2003 Ford pick-up. 

The victim’s were not injured during the incident and denied any medical assistance.

The suspects were described as:  Suspect #1- Covered face with dark handkerchief, adult Hispanic male, mid 20’s, average height, dark clothing consisting of long sleeve “hoodie” sweatshirt, black jeans and black shoes.

Suspect #2- Adult Hispanic male, mid 20’s, average height, unshaven with a few days of beard growth, wearing a dark “hoodie” and black jeans and black shoes.
