June Marie Sellers, of Eagle Point, died on July 21, 2011 in Medford. She was born March 13, 1932, to Herman Alden and Jaunita Faye Harrington, in Commerce, Okla.
She traveled extensively before meeting and marrying her husband, John Sellers, in Eugene, Ore., in 1953. They raised four children in the Upper Rogue area. They settled on a large piece of land and together watched their children grow into adulthood, providing her with 10 grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart.
She was passionate about her animals; dogs, cats, horses, cattle and sheep. In her spare time, she created quilts and other handicrafts treasured by her friends and family. She was fierce and someone you wanted at your side in a battle. June will be remembered for her intelligence, wit, charm, and beautiful voice.
Her husband of 56 years preceded her in death on May 15, 2009. She is survived by her four children; Crystal Nackerud (Bruce), of Eagle Point, Carol Chamberlin (Allen), of Copeville, Texas, John Sellers, Jr., of Tracy, Calif., and Bret Sellers (Diane) of Edmonds, Wash.; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; a sister and two brothers.
The funeral service was held July 26, 2011 at Conger-Morris.
