She attended college in Denver, Colo. It was there she married a young airman, Cleland M. Wills. Adventure was an everyday occurrence as she traveled Europe and the United States, following her career military husband through war and peacetime. Together, the couple nearly met their goal of traveling the entire country, journeying to 45 states and Canada, and lived in Europe with their two young daughters. Allyne was an avid genealogist who traced family lineage to the late 1500’s. In their retirement, the Wills finally settled in Shady Cove and Central Point. They felt like they were finally “home”.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Carl) Sack, three grandchildren and three great-grand children and beloved sister, Edna Allen. She was preceded in death by Cleland Wills, daughter Sharon Powers, sisters Carrie and Gertrude Redding, brother Aubrey Goins and baby granddaughter.
If one is to remember Allyne, it will be for her tenacious spirit, sense of adventure and unyielding support of family. She will be greatly missed as a mother, grandmother and friend.
