Skittlez Bowl feed benefits scholarship

The first annual K41 Skittlez Bowl Spaghetti Feed will be held at the Ashpole Center (at Eagle Point City hall) on Friday, Sept. 23, from 6-9 p.m.

All proceeds will benefit the Kris “Skittlez” Butler Memorial Scholarship established by the Butler family and the Southern Oregon renegades. The scholarship honors the legacy of excellence left behind when Kristopher Lewis Butler lost his life in a tragic car accident in August 2010. Kris was a graduate of  Eagle Point High School where he was a star athlete.

A donation of $10 insures a tasty spaghetti dinner, food service by the Southern Oregon Renegades, great music by T-Lyn and comfort in knowing you are supporting a scholarship.

Those unable to attend the Sept. 23 dinner may make a donation to the Oregon Community Foundation, 818 W. 8th St., Medford, OR 97501. Be sure to put Kris Skittlez Butler Scholarship on your check in the memo line.

Information on the annual football game to be held Saturday, Sept 24 will be available at the dinner and in the Sept. 20 issue of the Upper Rogue Independent.
