Santa probably isn’t much different in some ways than the rest of us. This year he had a hard time deciding where he was going to have his Christmas Shop. He knew it would be in Eagle Point, but just where was the unanswered question.
Mr. Dahack offered a building near the Covered Bridge. That looked like it would be very good until it came to organizing a cleanup crew in a very short time. That became a bit more than Santa was prepared for. However, Santa and his helpers are very appreciative of the offer of the building.
So, Santa’s shop will once again be in the Judge Stewart House on Main St., pending final approval of the Eagle Point City Council at their Nov. 8 meeting. Volunteers are still needed to set up, man the shop and tear down. Dates and hours are going to remain the same, Dec. 10-21, 10-4 p.m. Call 541-826-7700 to volunteer two or more hours
