The board of commissioners will hold a public meeting on Nov. 30 to consider a text amendment to the county’s Land Development Ordinance Section 6.2.2 Use Table for Base Zoning Districts, Section 6.3.1 Agriculture. The proposed amendment would allow small farm animals within the White City Urban Unincorporated Community Boundary. The hearing is at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30 in the auditorium, 10 So, Oakdale.
On Thursday, Dec. 8, at 9 a.m. the Jackson County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the county auditorium, 10 So. Oakdale. They will consider an application to re-plat the AKA Estate Subdivision in White City. The proposed re-plat would reduce the number of lots from a 20-lot configuration to 10 lots.
The properties are currently zoned White City Urban Residential 30 and are located on the southeast corner of Ave. E and Wilson Way, north of Phaedra Lane and south of Ave. E. The application was submitted by David Patterson, Grants Pass.
