When just three staff members total 90 years of experience and there are seven more employees, you know that Eagle Point Hardware is serious about its ability to serve the needs of the entire Upper Rogue community.

There is 9,000 sq. ft. of just about anything and everything one could want or need. While we can highlight a few sections, Eagle Point Hardware will suit the needs of men and as well as  women.

Brand names such as Sherwin Williams paint, Moen fixtures, Pyrex, 120 ft. of nuts and bolts, lots of plumbing items as well as electrical needs, PVC pipe, the list is endless and definitely just about anything one could think of in the area of hardware.

In addition, they can cut glass and screen for windows. There will be Redi-mix and concrete along with equipment to rent such as a Bobcat or toilet auger. A limited amount of lumber will also be available.  And, of course, nails, nails and nails by the pound of perhaps it is just a handful you need.
Owner Kent Cohee has been planning this store for the last four years. Before coming to the Rogue Valley Kent had a background in industrial hardware. He owned Hubbard Hardware, in Medford for a period of time then opened Shady Cove Hardware, which he continues to own.

When it came time to hire a manager, Kent says he got the best in Mike Brown. Brown  has 27 years in the hardware business, 14 of them at Ashland Hardware. He was raised the Rogue Valley.

Judy Bateman will be on the floor helping your needs with her 32 years of hardware experience. Collen Horn (Scott) is part of the office staff and most recently has had the task of entering every item in the store into the computer.

Kent selected “Do It Best” as the buying group. He said not only do they handle excellent merchandise, there are  some 4,000 affiliated with them. One of the advantages not always found with buying groups is that Eagle Point Hardware can buy products they believe will sell in the area and in the quantity that makes sense. This works to the advantage of the customer as well as the owner.

Eagle Point Hardware is located on Hannon Road, off Nick Young and near Walmart. Hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 8-5 p.m. and Sunday 9-4 p.m. For information, 541-839-4960.
