Train to be a hospice volunteer

Volunteers needed for Providence Hospice Volunteer Program. No experience is necessary, just an open and willing heart. Of particular need are retired persons with approximately four hours a week to devote to visiting with patients, providing relief for family caregivers, running errands and many other tasks as needed. However, anyone over 18 years is invited to apply.

Preregistration is required by Friday, Jan. 6, and interviews will be scheduled with interested individuals prior to training. Free two-day training begins mid-January for those who are accepted into the program. Contact Susan Cooper at 541-732-6532 for more information and an application.
