Ashley was a member of Table Rock Christian Fellowship and part of the Top Cat Club at Eagle Point Middle School. She enjoyed drawing, photography and caring for animals. She was a music fan and loved Justin Bieber. She aspired to become a marine biologist in Hawaii and hoped one day to visit Paris, France.
Ashley loved her family and enjoyed making friends.
She is survived by parents Justin and Lori Earp, of Eagle Point, and Alen and Lissa Long, of Longview,Wash.; five siblings, Mariah Earp, of Medford, Timmathy Earp, of Napa, Calif., Kaitlyn, Naeomi and Cera Long, of Longview, Wash.; grandparents, Rick and Connie Fogle and Joann Smith of Grants Pass, Jon and Valerie Woods, Laura and Cecil Hoover and Howard Valk, all of Medford, Debbie and Dave Malone, of O’Brian, Ore., Ken and Chris Earp, of Iowa; great-grandparents, Shirley Coe, of Grants Pass, Bill Woodbury, of O’Brian and Richard Fogle, of Phoenix, Ore., and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A private service for friends and family was held Feb. 26, at Perl Funeral Home. A potluck followed.
The family has set up a memorial account with Rogue Federal Credit Union under Ashley Long for Ashley’s Hope to help raise awareness of peer pressure and the dangers of helium. In addition, Ashley’s family from Washington has set up a funeral fund at Wells Fargo.
