He survived the Japanese occupation of the island and made it to the mainland in 1946 and joined the Army Air Force during the Korean conflict.
After the war, Benny settled down in Medford where he met and married Juanita Ragsdale from Eagle Point. He worked as a barber and ground maintenance chief at the VA Domiciliary in White City for over 30 years.
Benny loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with family. He was a funny, kind and friendly person always helping others. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
He is survived by his sister Delores Barac, sons John Flores, Manuel Flores and Michael Flores and daughters Luana Weathers and Jene’ Flores. He is also survived by his grand-children Kristen Flores, Justin Flores, Stefanie Venable, Amanda Bradway, Jessica Strother, Alyssa Weathers, Jeremy Smith, Ryan Paauwe, Christopher Flores, Nicholas Flores, Benjamin Flores and great grandchildren Ava Flores and Ethan Paauwe.
