This year’s auction will be headed by perennial favorite, Stan Deupree, as auctioneer, and feature an array of specialty desserts, bidder incentives and door prizes. The Community Association and Skills USA members continue to actively solicit desserts and other goods and services to be offered as incentives and door prizes throughout the evening. Last year’s auction featured thousands of dollars of diverse items, and the same variety is anticipated on March 10.
The auction is a family event, and children are welcomed enthusiastically. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for dessert and incentive viewing, with the auction following at 7 p.m. There is no cost to attend. A dessert buffet will be available, with individual servings offered for a donation of the patrons’ choice. Complimentary beverages are provided. The EPCA is a non-profit organization which holds scheduled events throughout the year for the enjoyment of the residents of Eagle Point, and the entire Rogue Valley. The 4th of July celebration and Fireworks Show, Easter Egg Hunt and Christmas Around Town are among the annual events sponsored the Association. The Skills USA program encourages students to pursue technical knowledge for future educational/employment opportunities. The EPHS program has received national status, with members consistently garnering top awards at both state and national competitive levels.
