Doreen June Baldwin

Beloved mother Doreen June Baldwin, 72, of White City, died Mar. 3, 2012., after a battle with lung cancer. She fought a good fight and finished the course on Earth. Her pain is gone.

She was born Doreen June Hemphill on Mar. 3, 1940, in Pipestone, Minn. She spent most of her life in the Pacific Northwest, moving back to White City from Emmett, Idaho, in March 2011. She enjoyed reading, computer games, spending time with family, friends and her church family. Before retiring and becoming ill, she had worked as a bookkeeper and also at Weldon’s in Medford.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Rose Hemphill and one brother, Emory Hemphill. She is survived by one sister, Delores Peterson, Nampa, Idaho; one brother, Clinton Hemphill, San Diego and her children, Susan Dobbins, White City, who took care of her until Jesus called her home; Glenda Lucero, Caldwell, Idaho, Kevin Airrington, Medford and Kimberly Nicastro, Emmett, Idaho, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The service was held Mar. 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
