19 fo the 25 SkillsUSA students placed in top six of their competition

Eagle Point High school SkillsUSA members went to compete at State this past weekend.
Eagle Point came out a shining star. Not only did 19 of the 25 students that went to the competition place in the top six of their areas, their advisor, Matt Boren received Oregon SkillsUSA Advisor of the Year.
Justus Barasheers and Micaela Saling were inducted into the 2012/2013 State of Oregon Leadership team.

Nick Branch: Bronze in Job Skills Demonstration “A”
Kole Mulka: Bronze in Power Equipment Technology
Manuel Fletes: Bronze in Computer Maintenance Technology
Zachary Styer: Silver in Applied Technical Math
Michelle Branch: Silver in Video Product Development
Casey Smith: Silver in Video Product Development and Silver in Safety Participation
Jorge Hernandez: Gold in Computer Applications
Rachel Gima: Gold in Prepared Speech
Justus Brasheers: Gold in Customer Service
Darwin Lozano: Gold in Automotive Collision Repair
Ernesto Valle: Gold in Automotive Refinishing
Juspin Bishop: Gold in Power Equipment Technology
Julieanne Dotson: Gold in Safety Participation
The SkillUSA chapter at Eagle Point High School will be holding their annual Thomas Ussary Car show this Saturday, April 28 at the school parking area. Come out and support and congratulate these well deserving students.
