Judith (Judy) Ann Ayres died Apr. 22, 2012, in Stevensville, Montana. She was born, along with her twin sister, Joy, in Heraldsburg, Calif,, on Mar. 4, 1949, to the late Bill and Elsie Wilson.
She grew up in Trail and Eagle Point and graduated from EPHS in 1967. She married Dick Ayres in 1971.
Judy later moved to the Bend, Ore. area for about 20 years, then moving to Stevensville, about three years ago. Her greatest love was for horses and livestock. She was an avid horse trainer and a natural around them. She showed Paint horses at halter. She loved her two Yorkies and had owned several of them.
She was very excited about moving home o the Southern Oregon area again. Judy was a devout Jehovah’s Witness, attending the Florence Congregation.
She is survived by her son, Tom (Cara) Ayes; brother, Bill (Yvonne) Wilson; twin sister, Joy Holt (Bruce); two stepchildren, Justin and Heather Hull; and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Ayres, her parents and her son, John Ayres.
A private graveside service will be held at a future date.
