The Butte Falls High School drama class is presenting The House at Pooh Corner on Friday, June 1 at 7 p.m. at the Butte Falls Elementary School gym. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors, students ages 6-17 will be $2 and children five and under $1. There will be a dessert intermission included in the price.
Winnie the Pooh is being played by Luke Kuykendall, Christopher Robin by Dianne Gorman (their wonderful math teacher); Eeyore will be by Hannah Kukendall, Tigger by Trisha Heagin, Piglet by Kristin Shafer, Owl by Amy Beemer, Kanga by Katie Bray, Roo by Brittney Gorman, Rabbit by Adam Carlisle, Early Rabbit by Erika Young, Late Rabbit by Nikki McGonagle and the voice of Christopher Robin’s mother by Michaela Langston.
The costumes were all designed by Butte Falls community member Sherry Ellis, the stage design director is local artist Nellieann Ragsdale, stage set up by Mike Harrington and Jeff Gorman.
