Norman “Norm” Monroe Walch

Norm, 54, departed this life on May 30th, 2012. to finally be at peace and rest in the Lord’s arms. Present were his sons and Willard Walch (cousin) at his side at the time of his passing. Norm was born to Buck and Vera Walch on May 2nd, 1958, he and his sister Debbie shared the same birthday just two years apart. He grew up on the family ranch and attended Eagle Point schools his whole life. He attended OIT for mechanics and graduated from SOU, while working and raising his sons. He achieved his bachelor’s degree in Business, he was a great baseball pitcher all through high school and continued to play ball all through his college years. He had been offered baseball scholarships to many outside colleges but chose to stay local, settle down and be a family man instead.

He married at age 19 to Susan (Kaul) Walch and was married for 34 years. He has two wonderful sons Matthew 30 and Reid 27, whom he adored. Norm started as a driver for UPS and was promoted to a manager, then worked for Rusco Trucking Company before starting and owning Superior Hot Tub Company. He was a very hard worker with good work ethics and high morals. He liked to hunt, taught himself to play guitar, snow ski, play baseball, spend time with his sons, read, continue learning, and believed in the lord.
